Boy George (born George Alan O’Dowd) who recently turned 48 years old must’ve felt the prime of his time because he just announced that he is going on a tour as a solo artist this summer across North America. And of course, he will be performing his Culture Club hits back in his hey-day.
Boy George has enjoyed ubiquitous attention from the media because of his legal woes. One of which ended him picking garbage for the City of New York’s Department pic_theboy2of Sanitation as part of his community service, but was later changed to indoor community service due to media frenzy.
Aside from his tour, he is set to perform a free concert for the New York City’s Department of Sanitation Family Day on August 27th, 2008 because he felt indebted to the kindness the workers had shown him during that tough time.
